I have had the fortune of working with both Todd Larkham and Alun Jones over the course of my tennis development. Alun was my first coach, taking me on at age 6 after my mum had introduced me to the sport. Four years later in 2013, I transitioned into the National Academy program where I was coached primarily by Todd Larkham. Alun still remained involved during this time, working together with Todd through until I moved interstate in late 2018. I feel very fortunate to have both Todd and Alun involved in my tennis journey. They each had their own unique strengths and experiences, and worked together to ensure I was the beneficiary of both their skills sets. I hold an immense amount of respect and appreciate the genuine care they each invested in me. Much of the tennis knowledge and skills I currently use derives from their teachings and early commitment to develop all aspects of my game. Whilst coached by Alun and Todd, we were able to achieve a number of significant results including winning the 12/u and 16/u Australian National Championships and becoming an Australian representative player on five occasions. As a player, but more importantly as a person, Todd and Alun helped me grow. Their authentic care for me as an individual, and persisting when I didn’t make it easy, is what I value most from my time with them. Todd and Alun have unequivocally helped me to be where I am now in my tennis career, and I am forever grateful for the chance to cross paths with them; anyone who does are very blessed and will be helped definitely.

Todd was my coach for over 5 years and he was a huge part of my development as a player and also as a person. Thanks to him I developed a much more aggressive and consistent game that could win me matches and earned me a Division 1 US College scholarship. He also facilitated a really positive and competitive training environment which was really important for me as a young player. I feel lucky to have been under his guidance and he is definitely the best coach I have had and will ever have.
