Reached a career-high ATP ranking of 136 in singles (August 2003) and doubles 168 (October 1998) and played in the main draw singles of every Grand Slam tournament, including the Australian Open (6 times) and Wimbledon twice.

Defeated more than 30 former top 100 players including Jonas Bjorkman, David Ferrer, Peter Luczak, Nicholas Mahut, Ivo Karlovic, Joachin Johansson, Scott Draper, Wayne Arthurs, Sargis Sargisian, Andrey Cherkasov and Stefan Koubek.

Played against some of the game’s greats on the biggest stage, including former world No.1s Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi and Lleyton Hewitt; Grand Slam champion Thomas Johansson, as well as top 10 players Tim Henman, Alberto Berasetegui, Nicholas Kiefer and James Blake.
